Good Evening and welcome to the Rockdale County Sheriff's Office website. The past few years have seen an enormous change in Rockdale County. What was once a quiet, peaceful small town is now a bustling, dynamic community in a large metropolitan area. Like most other counties in the Metro Atlanta area, we have seen, and will continue to see, tremendous growth. With this growth comes challenge, and our young people are the most vulnerable. We face the struggle of curbing increased crime, drug involvement, and gang development. While we are encouraged with the response to our efforts so far, we continue to look to the future. No single agency can do this alone. The Rockdale County Sheriff's Office has joined with other community groups, schools, churches and committed individuals in an unprecedented coalition to make our community a safe and secure environment for all of its citizens.
